How to maximise your kitchen storage!
I’m always on the look out for functional but also inexpensive storage solutions, for my client’s and for my own home. There are so many options available but which are the best. Below are 2 tried and tested products that I’ve used in my own home.
1. The Joseph Joseph CupboardStore Under-shelf film, foil and bag organiser.
When you have limited space to store your foil, film etc this organiser this is a great solution! In my previous home, I had amble drawer space and I was able to have a designated area to store my foil, cling film and snack bags. But since moving home, my new kitchen has very limited drawer space – so I had to come up with another idea.
The organiser sticks to the underside of a kitchen shelf and takes up minimal space but can hold at least 4 to 5 rolls of foil etc. I purchased 2, as I needed another organiser to store my sandwich bags. It works perfectly for both!

2. The second storage solution is The IKEA UPPDETERA.
It’s such a clever product for your kitchen drawers, available in 2 sizes, the peg board can be used to store and hold your crockery or your pots, frying pans and lids securely in place. You can purchase bespoke wooden versions, but these can cost hundreds, whilst the IKEA large version is a bargain at £15.

The IKEA UPPDETERA is a perfect solution for securely storing my frying pans horizontally, rather than vertically. My new kitchen drawers aren’t as deep as my previous ones, so I had to come up with an alternative solution.
There are 2 sizes available, 80cm (my version in the video) and 60cm. The boards clip into place and the pegs can be easily placed in any configuration (they’re also easy to untwist).
It wasn’t a perfect fit, arghhh!!! But it did the job that I needed it to do!
