Before & After of my client’s preteen daughter’s wardrobe
The brief from my client’s daughter was to have all her items neatly hung or folded and for everything to be accessible and easy to maintain.
Before
We worked together in editing and removing all the garments that no longer fitted or suited her.
I hung the items in grouped sections; skirts, dresses, jumpers and jackets.
I ‘file folded’ her jeans and leggings. The jeans were stacked and all her leggings were placed in an IKEA Variera storage box (the client’s own).
All her short-sleeved and long-sleeved tops were ‘file folded’ and stored in sections within the bottom drawer of the wardrobe.
After
The slim-line velvet and wooden hangers are specifically for children’s clothing and I purchased both at TK Maxx and Amazon UK.
I love working with my client’s children and I believe that it is important that they are involved in decluttering and organising their own clothing and belongings.
