I honestly can’t believe it’s been five whole years since I trusted my instincts, and launched my professional home organising business. What started as a passion-driven idea has grown into a journey far bigger, richer, and more rewarding than I ever imagined.

It’s been quite the ride. Over the years, I’ve learned that running a business means wearing many hats, sometimes all at once! From figuring things out as I went along to becoming my own bookkeeper, PR and advertising lead, customer service manager, and social media cheerleader, I’ve gained skills I never expected to master. Alongside all of that, I’m proud to say I’ve grown into a trusted, established home organiser and lifestyle expert here in East Anglia.

Learning has been a huge part of this journey. I’ve invested countless hours into courses and professional development, building not just practical business skills but also deepening my understanding of how best to support my clients. This includes specialised training around working with neurodiverse individuals and supporting those living with hoarding behaviours – work that requires compassion, patience, and a truly person-centred approach. Every client and every home has taught me something new.

As the business has evolved, so too have my services. What began with decluttering has expanded into so much more. Over the past five years, I’ve organised wardrobes, playrooms, kitchens, home offices, and everything in between. I’ve helped families regain calm in their homes, supported busy professionals, packed and unpacked entire households, styled homes to feel lighter and more functional, and created streamlined paperwork systems that actually work in real life. No two projects are ever the same, and that’s what keeps the work so exciting.

I’ve also been incredibly fortunate to share my expertise beyond one-to-one client work. Hosting corporate events, speaking to wider audiences, and being featured in both local and national media has been a real highlight. Seeing my work mentioned in publications such as Woman&Home, Good Housekeeping, and Ideal Home, as well as being interviewed live on Times Radio and by Small Business Britain, has been both surreal and deeply rewarding.

People often ask me why I started this business. The answer has always been simple, and it hasn’t changed. My mission is to help busy individuals create beautifully organised homes that support their lives, rather than overwhelm them. Homes should feel calm, functional, and joyful, and I love helping people get there.

Most importantly, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to my amazing clients. Whether we worked together once or you’ve been with me for years, your trust means everything. Some of you have been part of this journey from the very beginning, and I feel incredibly lucky to still be working alongside you today.

So here’s to five years of growth, learning, and transformation, and to many more organised homes, fresh starts, and feel-good spaces still to come!
