Spoiler: It’s a blend of experience, training, and a genuine love of helping people live better!
For over four years, I’ve had the privilege of helping clients transform their homes, and often, their lives, through thoughtful, personalised organisation. From chaotic wardrobes to cluttered pantries, from paper-filled home offices to overrun playrooms, I’ve worked on projects of every size and scale. I’ve even been known to coordinate tradespeople and wrap gifts, because no detail is too small when it comes to creating order in a busy life.
But what truly sets me apart isn’t just what I do – it’s the depth of experience, knowledge, and care I bring to every client I work with.
14+ Years of Professional Experience
Before launching The Lifestyle Organiser, I spent over a decade in office and event management. This background sharpened my ability to think on my feet, implement efficient systems, and manage complex logistics. All these skills that now seamlessly translate into home organising.
Academic Expertise in Space & Design
I hold a Master’s Degree in Urban Regeneration, which gave me a solid foundation in spatial planning and design principles. I understand how the layout and functionality of a space can directly impact your mental clarity, productivity, and sense of wellbeing, and I use that knowledge in every project I take on.
Accredited & Always Learning
As a proud member of the Association of Professional Declutterers & Organisers (APDO UK) since 2021, I’m committed to ongoing training and staying current with best practices. Some of my specialist areas include:
- ADHD-Friendly Organising – I’ve completed dedicated training to support neurodiverse individuals in a way that truly works for their lifestyle and needs.
- Sustainability Champion – I hold a CPD certificate in sustainable practices, helping clients declutter mindfully and reduce waste.
- Hoarding Awareness – I’m CPD-trained in working with clients affected by chronic disorganisation and hoarding behaviours, with empathy and practical strategies.
- Bereavement Support & Procrastination Coaching – I’ve also studied how to support people through emotional clutter and mental blocks.
Why I Do What I Do
Organisation is more than just tidy cupboards and matching labels (though I love those too!). It’s about creating calm in the chaos, helping people reclaim their time, space, and peace of mind. I genuinely love what I do, and there’s no better feeling than seeing a client walk into their newly organised home and breathe easier.
