A complete refresh of a walk-in-wardrobe in Newmarket, Suffolk!
The vision for my client’s, a very busy married couple with two children, was to have a decluttered and curated wardrobe that complimented their current lifestyles.
My client’s moved into their home over a year ago and were struggling to keep the space organised.
They needed my help in creating designated areas for different family members clothing and that the space could be easily manageable.
The process
I’d initially worked with them previously (June 2024) and we’d edited all the clothing hung on the rails.
In this session, I rehung all the items using my client’s black slim hangers for both tops & dresses and matching trouser/skirt clip-on hangers. The process also included, going through all the clean clothing being stored in the large black storage boxes and in all the laundry baskets.
I created categorised clothing systems, for school uniform, and smart & informal clothing plus placed all seasonal items together (winter jumpers, jackets & coats).
All my client’s handbags were neatly stacked together on one of the shelves.
I was able to place my client’s shoe racks into the corner of the room and store their shoes!
I removed all the large storage boxes from the walk-in wardrobe (they’re now in the shed waiting to be sold by my client).
The next step is to go through the 2 large white dressers where all their undergarments are being stored. I’d already measured the internal drawer space and sent my client’s storage solutions, which they’d ordered.
The project took 8 hours to complete, in two 6-hour Lifestyle Transformation sessions (as I’d completed other small projects within the sessions).
In total, I took away over 6 bags of their good-quality clothing donations.
All of my client’s items are now easily accessible, visible and all have a designated home!
